Smt. Ramkumari College of Veterinary Sciences, located in Mukundgarh Mandi, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, was established in 2018. The college is managed by the Prof. S. Karan Shiksha Samiti and functions as a private, unaided institution. Ramkumari College of Veterinary Sciences has received approval from the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) to commence the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme from the academic year 2025. The college is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner. It is also recognized by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Rajasthan for conducting the Diploma in Animal Husbandry.

The college offers two main programmes: a 2-year Diploma in Animal Husbandry with an annual intake of 100 students, and the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) course, which commenced in 2025 with an initial intake capacity of 80 students. These programmes are structured to comply with the MSVE 2016 regulations set by the VCI, ensuring a comprehensive and practical approach to veterinary education.

Eligibility

B.V.Sc & AH

  • Candidate must have completed the minimum age of 17 years and the maximum age of 25 years on or before 31st December of the Academic Year.
  • Candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary (of 10+2 scheme) or equivalent recognized Examination with Science Biology group from a Statutory Indian Board/University.
  • Candidates under general category must have 50% of the aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in this qualifying examination.
  • For the candidates of reserved categories, the marks requirement will be 5% (of 50%) less than that prescribed for General category candidates i.e. 47.5% in the aforesaid subjects.
  • He /she shall have to appear NEET (same year) for the admission.
  • Candidates from all over India will be eligible for taking admission at Ramkumari College of Veterinary Sciences under Management Quota subject to fulfilling the other admission eligibility criteria also.

Admission Process

The completion of admission process involves the following-

The candidate must have attained or will attain the minimum age of 17 years before 31 December of that year.

 

(1.) Verification and submission of all the original documents along with self attested photocopies as mentioned in serial  at the time of document verification.

(II.) Deposition of fees and other charges.

(III.) Medical examinations.

The record related to admission process/ counselling shall be destroyed after six month of last counselling/cuto off date except that related to any pending court Case.

 

A candidate aggrieved by any decision may appeal within three days to the competent authority who will examine the application with reference to the rule and Regulations. Decision of the Chairman,, in the matter, shall be final.

 

Admission remains provisional. Documents submitted by the candidates shall be checked/got verified/reverified from the concerned Board/University at any time during course of the study. If at any stage, any certificate is found fake or not equivalent by board of school examination, or any other Board, admission will be cancelled and Legal action will be initiated.

 

Fees

Rs 25 Lacs for the entire B.V.Sc & A.H course of 5.5 Years for State / VCI Quota Seats as well as Management Quota Seats

Duration of 4th Year is 2.5 Years

Fees for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year is Rs 5,00,000/-

Fees for the 4th and 5th Year is 10 Lacs (together)

Fees for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year  is to be paid in One Instalment

Fees for the 4 year is to be paid in two instalment. First Instalment is to be paid at the time of registration of 4 year and 2nd instalment after one (01) year.
